London: UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has described Russia as a "grave threat" to the country, warning that it endangers Britain's waters and airspace.
Speaking in the House of Commons, Starmer also accused Russia of launching cyberattacks on the NHS and attempting assassinations on British soil.
"The future of Ukraine is crucial to the national security of the UK," Starmer stated, emphasizing Britain's firm support for Ukraine. "We stand with Ukraine because it is the right thing to do, and it is in our national interest."
The Prime Minister reiterated that achieving lasting and just peace remains a key goal for the UK. "We are committed to securing a strong and fair peace," he added, vowing that Britain will "lead from the front" in efforts to establish a peace agreement.
